I hold an honours degree in Psychology and received training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the Beck Institute.
My curiosity about the evolution of behaviour and cognition led me to complete a Master’s degree in Primatology at the University of Girona, Spain.
I have worked on projects related to human intelligence, behaviour, and cognition in Australia, Canada, and Mexico. My fieldwork has included collecting behavioural data from wild spider monkeys in Mexico and moor macaques in Indonesia.
My research interests lie at the intersection of evolution, behaviour, and cognition. In particular, I am interested in human ethology, comparative psychology, comparative cognition, and the evolutionary origins of the human mind. I am fascinated by the similarities and differences between human and non-human cognition, and by the evolutionary processes that shape behaviour across species.
I also have a research interest in the cognitive effects of psychedelics, particularly psilocybin.
Through this website, I explore ideas related to psychology, evolution, cognition and behaviour.
